Your Mission

With a fast expanding business, we wish to strengthen our top-notch team of professional sales personnel and hire a Strategic Partnerships Director. We want you to stand out from the crowd, in terms of business passion and professional experience. You will  make a long-lasting impact in the category, and contribute to creating an industry leader.

Your role will be to:

A/ work closely with our strategic distribution partners, such as Google, Amazon, OVPs, and Application Agencies in order to build  long lasting and profitable business relationships . 

B/ to lead the Partnerships Development strategy for Cleeng with the focus of generating new Enterprise Opportunities for the Sales Team through our strategic partners.

Job summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Cleeng’s executive leadership to develop and implement long-term partners development strategies essential for the company’s growth. 
  • Lead Cleeng’s Partnerships Development strategy: consolidate industry best practices, implement a standardized way of working globally, define relevant OKRs, leverage our internal CRM Salesforce for tracking progress on Partnerships Development. 
  • Work with partners to define their business goals with Cleeng and set the strategy to achieve those short / mid / long term. 
  • Build strong relationships with key strategic partners (see above) and open in time relevant new partnership opportunities .
  • Negotiate contracts, commission schemes, revenue share, and other possible aspects of the relationship in order to reach mutually beneficial agreements. 
  • Take on the management of the Partnerships Development Manager based in Amsterdam and define Roles and Responsibilities. 
  • Generate new opportunities through partners in order to achieve the business objectives set for both the partners and Cleeng. 
  • Demonstrate and evangelize Cleeng products at trade shows, and empower your network of partners with the right sales arguments to effectively close large, enterprise deals
  • Supervise the collaboration between Cleeng and its partners at events and trade shows, joint PRs & communication. 
  • Effectively influence and motivate internal cross-functional team members to drive successful cooperation with partners (sales, marketing, tech).

Required Skills and Experience

Preferred Work Experience & Education

  • A minimum of 7 years in a similar role in the Media/Telco/OTT industry. You have experience selling high-value enterprise SaaS products to sports and/or media companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree or MBA
  • Knowledge of, or experience with selling SaaS solutions to digital media, broadcasting, sports, or similar industries. You have a proven track record in achieving your sales targets, selling SaaS products.
  • Experience working in multicultural, international organizations with rapidly evolving products and business models.

You know how to develop strong channel/partner relationships: building trust, supporting them when they need it, providing guidance and tools to help them win.
  • Teamwork & Cooperation: You work collaboratively with others, forge connections with key industry stakeholders, cultivate win-win relationships. You know how to work in a team and be a valued player
  • Identification with the company: You act in accordance with the company’s values ​​and interests. You appreciate our culture code, and want to contribute to it too in the long run.
  • You are familiar with CRM tools such as Salesforce. 
  • You have advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets to demonstrate value that Cleeng brings from an ROI perspective
